2019 Peace & Liberty Silver 10 Oz Medal NGC Rev PF 70 Canada 1st Release COA. The current coin lists as: 2019 silver medal produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. One of 3,000 minted. This medal contains 10 Troy ounces of 0.9999 pure silver. This medal is a joint effort between Susan Taylor of the Royal Canadian Mint and John M. Mercanti of the United States Mint. Susan Taylor’s PAX design graces the obverse of the medal. A female personification of Peace faces left. Her hair is adorned with a wreath of maple leaves (a ubiquitous symbol of Canada). The Canadian national motto, “A MARI USQUE AD MARE” is placed above the portrait of Peace. The reverse shows a female personification of LIBERTAS Liberty created by John M. Here, Liberty stands holding a flaming torch aloft in her left hand while she clutches a sword in her right hand. The sword is pointed at two venomous serpents, which symbolize evil, keeping them at bay. The national motto of the United States of America “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is placed along the left edge. The medal is certified and sealed in a tamper-proof NGC holder. The label bears signatures by Susan Taylor and John M. Also included is the medal’s original Royal Canadian Mint packaging.
