Reverse Proof Silver Maple Leaf – Canada 150th Privy – Roll of 25 Coins SKU44562. Reverse Silver Maple Leafs? Each Silver Maple Leaf in this roll of 25 coins was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2017. They are part of a celebratory release for the 150th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada, and they boast a special privy mark! Featuring Canada’s National Symbol! Featured on the obverse is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Created by artist Susanna Blunt, this is the fourth portrait of Her majesty to appear on Canadian coinage. The reverse features an intricately designed maple leaf that has been one of Canada’s most recognizable symbols since the mid-1800s. To the right of the image is a micro-engraved privy mark that is not only used for security purposes, but also to help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canada’s Confederation! Receiving the designation of GEM Proof. Each coin in this roll of twenty-five Silver Maple Leaves has received the designation of GEM Reverse Proof. This means that although it has not been graded by any third-party grading company, it would be likely fall between the grades of Proof 65 to Proof 70 if it was. Precious metals markets are fluid.
