This gorgeous silver proof produced by the Royal Canadian Mint features a Maple Leaf adornment crafted from 1 gram of 18 karat gold! The gold maple leaf is realistically detailed with etched veins and curled edges. This 2018 proof is struck from of 2 Troy oz. 9999 fine silver with a diameter measurement of 50 mm, and a mintage limited to 2,750 coins. The golden maple leaf dominates the reverse design, surrounded by a fantastic composition of swirling stylized engraved maple leaves, with the subtle frosted pattern of the Canadian flag in the background. The image designed by Canadian artist Michelle Grant includes the inscriptions “CANADA” and 30 DOLLARS.
